PTFA - supporting the school and our children
The Longsands PTFA was formed in 1997 and exists to support the school and the children. Our aim is to hold various events during the year, both to raise funds to supplement the school budget for the benefit of pupils and also in an attempt to encourage a sense of community.
We’ve organise things such as the Summer Fayre, provide refreshments at the Christmas performances, organise school discos, bingo nights and more recently a table top sale. Since 1997 we have both raised & spent well over £40,000!
